10 Best Vacuum For Pet Hairs 2026 in the United States

The Shark NV752 Rotator TruePet vacuum is a strong choice for tackling pet hair around your home. It boasts good suction power with a 1.54 horsepower motor and a powered brush roll designed specifically to handle pet hair and ground-in dirt, especially on carpets and stairs. The vacuum features a HEPA filter combined with an anti-allergen complete seal that traps 99.9% of dust and allergens, making it ideal for those with allergies. It is bagless with a dust cup capacity of 0.88 quarts, allowing for longer cleaning sessions before needing to empty it.

Maneuverability is enhanced by advanced swivel steering and a Lift-Away pod that enables easy access under furniture and tight spaces. The vacuum also includes pet-focused attachments such as a self-cleaning Pet Power Brush, upholstery tool, and crevice tool, adding versatility for cleaning various surfaces and hard-to-reach corners. LED headlights on the nozzle assist in uncovering hidden pet hair and dirt.

On the downside, the vacuum weighs 15.4 pounds, which may feel heavy for some users during extended use or when carrying it upstairs. Its noise level is around 80 decibels, which is moderately loud but typical for upright vacuums with strong suction. This model is well-suited for pet owners seeking strong cleaning power, allergen control, and useful tools, though it might be less ideal for those sensitive to weight and noise.

The Shark Upright Vacuum, Navigator Lift-Away (model NV356E), is a solid choice for pet owners looking for an effective cleaning solution. One of its standout features is the Lift-Away functionality, allowing you to detach the pod to clean hard-to-reach areas like stairs and furniture with ease. Its powerful suction is complemented by a brush roll that adapts to different surfaces, making it versatile for both carpets and bare floors. With the HEPA filtration system, it effectively traps allergens and dust, which is particularly beneficial for allergy sufferers.

The vacuum’s extra-large dust cup (0.87 liters) provides longer cleaning sessions without frequent stops to empty it. The included attachments, such as the Pet Power Brush and crevice tool, enhance its ability to tackle pet hair and tight spaces. Swivel steering allows for easy maneuvering around furniture and into corners, adding to its user-friendly design.

This vacuum is particularly well-suited for pet owners and those dealing with allergies. While it has some weight and noise considerations, its strong suction power, versatility, and effective filtration make it a reliable cleaning companion for households with pets.

The eufy C28 2026 robot vacuum is a strong contender if you need a smart vacuum for pet hair. Its powerful 15,000 Pa suction lifts pet hair, dander, and dirt from both hard floors and carpets, with extra boost on carpets to get deeper cleaning. The standout feature is its DuoSpiral brush roll designed to prevent hair tangles—ideal for homes with multiple pets and long fur. This reduces the hassle of manual brush cleaning. The vacuum also combines mopping with a real HydroJet roller that self-cleans and removes paw prints and spills effectively, going beyond simple wiping.

The vacuum empties into a large 3L bag at its self-cleaning station, which also washes and dries the mop automatically, so you can forget most maintenance for up to 75 days. This bagged system keeps dust contained and adds convenience, though it means you'll have to replace bags eventually. The unit weighs about 24 pounds including the station, which is typical for self-emptying robot vacuums, and navigates well using privacy-safe LiDAR sensors. It runs quietly at around 55 dB, making it less disruptive.

One limitation is that the vacuum is best suited for hard floors and short carpets, so if you have thick or high-pile rugs, performance might be less impressive. Also, it does not include cameras, which is good for privacy but might slightly reduce room mapping accuracy compared to some other models. The washable filter helps maintain air quality by trapping fine dust and allergens. The eufy C28 is an excellent choice for pet owners who want a low-maintenance, powerful robot vacuum that excels at hair removal without brush tangles, and adds effective mopping with minimal effort. Its self-emptying and mop care features save time, though heavier weight and carpet type limitations are worth considering.
